What is this, exactly?
Storage Unit Planner is a planner that runs in your web browser. You enter your storage unit's width, depth and height, add your furniture and boxes, and drag them around a to scale floor plan. Items stack when you drop one on another, and a live 3D view shows how the unit fills up.
How much does it cost?
One plan: $0.99 per month, billed monthly until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time from your account page and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Open your account page, choose Manage billing, and cancel in a couple of clicks. There is no phone call and no cancellation fee. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How accurate is it?
The catalog uses typical dimensions for common items, and every item can be edited to match a tape measure. The planner treats each item as a rectangular box, so it is an estimate. Always measure anything that matters and confirm the unit's real ceiling and door height with the facility.
Where are my layouts saved?
Your layouts stay in your own browser on the device you use. They are not uploaded to our servers. Use Export to save a file you can back up or open on another computer.
Can I use it on more than one device?
Yes, up to 3 devices at a time. Sign in with the same email on each one. Layouts do not sync automatically, so export from one device and import on the other.
How do I sign in?
No password needed. Enter the email you subscribed with and we send a one time sign in link. The link expires after 15 minutes and works once.
What do I need to use it?
Any modern version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on a laptop or desktop works best. Tablets work too. A mouse or trackpad makes dragging easiest.
